    Who we are

    Lord Orphan Care is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 to provide comprehensive care and support for orphans and vulnerable children in Kambuzuma. With a commitment to compassion and a holistic approach that includes education, emotional well-being, life skills development, and community integration, our organization aims to address these challenges.

    What we do

    Lord Orphan Care is a private voluntary organisation which provides shelter for orphans, and extends feeding and clothing to the less privileged children in the high density suburb of Kambuzuma. We also offer assistance in the provision of school fees as well as offering hands skills training. Lastly the Organisation advocates for awareness against HIV/Aids, alcoholism, child / sexual abuse, etc

    Ultimate Goal

    By providing a safe, nurturing environment and comprehensive care and services, we aim to transform the lives of orphaned and at-risk children, giving them the tools and opportunities to break the cycle of poverty, neglect, and despair. Our goal is to see these children grow into self-sufficient, thriving adults who can positively impact their communities and the world around them.

    Lord Orphan Care was founded in 1999 with a vision for a world where every orphaned and vulnerable child is loved, nurtured, and empowered to reach their full potential. We envision a future where all children, regardless of their circumstances, have access to the basic necessities of life - food, shelter, education, and healthcare - as well as the support and guidance they need to develop into confident, compassionate, and productive members of society.

    Current Projects

    At our organization, we have a diverse range of projects that we are actively working on. These projects span various domains and are designed to help train the children to address the unique needs and challenges they face.

    Fashion and Fabrics

    Our fashion design program equips students with essential skills for the fashion industry, including dress-making, shoe-making, garment construction, design principles, and trend analysis.

    Poultry and Egg Farming

    Our agriculture program offers practical experience in sustainable farming techniques, and egg farming, as well as bicycle repairs to work hands-on an and apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios.
